The CIA is very much like Big Brother from Orwell’s novel 1984, by watching Americans and trying to manipulate how and what we think.

Parts one and two discussed the CIA’s role in manipulation of the media, recruitment of journalist, and assassination of presidents.  In part 2 we discussed the CIA’s involvement with drug trafficking, flipping of governments, involvement in Ukrainian peace, and their work against presidential candidates.

Now we continues with how the CIA is working against presidential candidates, and how the CIA tries to manipulate Hollywood, influence American thinking, spy on Americans, and what needs to be done.

Work against presidential candidates (continued)

A House GOP report suggests the Biden campaign, with CIA assistance, had 51 “intelligence” operatives sign a document stating Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation, when they knew it was Hunter’s.  Their aim was to change the 2020 election.  West Virginia’s Secretary of State stated, “The election was stolen, and it was stolen by the CIA.”

The New York Post published a poll showing 79% of the people say, “‘truthful’ coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop would have changed [the] 2020 election.”

Concerning the 2024 election, it’s stated that the “CIA will work ‘actively against Trump and the Republicans’.”  Ex-CIA analyst, Dr. John Gentry, who is presently a Georgetown University professor, stated, “My guess is that the proverbial deep state within the intelligence community will reemerge because presumably a Republican candidate will again be seen as a threat to the internal policies that many intelligence people like.”

On March 20, 2024 the propagandizing “Anderson Cooper 360” show allowed threats to be spoken against Trump by Democratic Party strategist James Carville stating, “Biden is not the best attack politician. …there are a lot of people to do what I call ‘the wetwork.’”  “Wetwork is often used as a euphemism for murder or assassination.  The term alludes to spilling blood.” “That’s a CIA term,” Carville said. “Take a guy out.”  Propagandist Anderson stated, “Sounds like a mob hit.”

So, we live in an age where you can verbally threaten presidential candidates on television and not go to jail?

The CIA in Hollywood

“The CIA has been working with Hollywood since the 1950s” originally to influence audiences to fight communism during the cold war.  Things like, canceling Star Trek, because Chekov, being a Russian, was portrayed in a positive light, or trying to get rid of Man from U.N.C.L.E.’s Illya Kuryakin, the Russian agent who even wore a Russian uniform several times during the first season of the show.  When told to get rid of the foreign guy whose name was “K,” the show got rid of the wrong one.  They thought they meant “Will Kuluva,” who was originally cast as “Mr. Allison”, the head of U.N.C.L.E.  So, Kuluva was replaced by Leo Carroll, who played Alexander Waverly.  The second season proceeded with the Russian agent Kuryakin intact.  By the third season, Kuryakin had lost his Russian accent and had a British accent.

In the 1990s the CIA formally hired an entertainment industry liaison to court “favorable treatment in films.”  By 1996 the CIA hired one of its veteran officers, Chase Brandon, “to work directly with Hollywood studios and production.”  Brandon stated, “It took us a long time to support projects that portray us in the light we want to be seen in.”

Especially since 9/11 “American screenwriters, directors, and producers have traded positive portrayal of the spy profession in film or television projects for special access and favors at CIA headquarters.”

The CIA has worked on a long list of productions including “The Sum of All Fears”, “Alias”, “24”, and “Homeland” getting “their preferred image across” to “boost recruitment interest.”

CIA Spying on Americans

In February 2022 Senators Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Martin Heinrich (D-NM) called upon the CIA to make “extensive declassifications” concerning the CIA “bulk surveillance program that crossed over to the domestic front, stretching, if not outright violating, the legal ban on the agency carrying out domestic operations.”  By law, the CIA is prohibited from operating on U.S. soil at all.  Things like, “warrentless collection of Americans’ records” suggested that the CIA was collecting data on Americans at least as early as May 2014.  This operation was kept from the public, Congress, and even the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, showing CIA overreach, willingness to act illegally, and contempt for oversight.

Another article stated, “Since 2017 we have become increasingly aware of the CIA sticking its nose into practically everything from healthcare to the private lives of Americans in a manner that is more than arguably illegal.”

So, how did all this escalate?

In an interview with Michael Waller, author of Big Intell: How the CIA and FBI went from Cold War Heros to Deep State Villians, Waller points out that Obama brought “change” to the CIA by appointing John Brennan head of the CIA in March of 2013.  Brennan voted for Gus Hall, when Hall ran for president of the United States.  Gus Hall is the General Secretary of the Communist Party USA.  Under the guise of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Brennan reached down into the organization and promoted those who followed his ideologies.  These promotions to middle and upper management, caused more appointments, until now you have woke people running the entire nerve center of the CIA.

According to the Washington Post, on President Obama’s “final visit” to the CIA before leaving office, Obama stated, “We live in dangerous times.  I am going to need you more than ever.”

Conclusions

There are now calls for the CIA to be dismantled changing the command and control, while maintaining the function, by removing not needed federal employees to remove the “rot.”  It was stated that the problem with the CIA, is like cancer.  You must cut the bad out to save the patient.

It is a shame that the CIA could not have learned from old Hollywood movies.  It seems no one is wearing white hats anymore.
