California’s Fires: Whodunit?

The case of the great whodunit concerning the catastrophic democrat 2024 election loss was solved by playing Clue with the Democrat Party.  Let’s use Clue to determine responsibility for the California fires.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass campaigned on not wasting taxpayer money making extravagant unnecessary trips, yet when the wildfires broke out, she was on an extravagant unnecessary trip in Ghana, Africa.  Richard Grenell, Foreign Policy Advisor to President Trump, criticized Bass saying she’s “in Africa while our city is literally burning to the ground.” Elon Musk called Bass “utterly incompetent.”  In contrast, California Governor Gavin Newsom thanked Bass, which seems odd since Bass decreased funding for the L.A. Fire Department by $18 million.  Arriving back in L.A., Bass was asked by the media, “Do you owe citizens an apology for being absent while their homes were burning?”  Bass remained silent.  Councilmember Traci Park called the wildfires a “tragic and devastating reminder” of how L.A. has not invested enough in critical infrastructure.  So, our first accusation for the fires is Mayor Bass, cutting fire department budgets, while on an extravagant trip.

Next, we’ve L.A.’s highest paid city employee, Janisse Quinones, the head of the Department of Water and Power (DWP) with a whopping annual salary of $750,000.  Being a government job, should she be paid 88% more than the president of the United States?  L.A. City Council president, Paul Krekorian, hired Quinones because “DWP needs … commitment to customer service… about the essential needs of …water infrastructure.”  Quinones said, “I will have to look into all the energy efficiency projects, …making those equitable.”  While she was being equitable, you would think she would make sure there’s water in the reservoirs.  According to Newsweek, California performs “regular release of water” from its reservoirs, which “is cause for concern,” especially since the Pacific Palisades Reservoir was empty, as reported by Victoria Taft of PJ MediaFire hydrants ran out of water while firemen were fighting these fires.  Quinones stated, their system tanks went dry three times.  These are three million-gallon water tanks, but Quinones failed to mention the empty reservoir.  “Firefighters complained… there was no water coming out of the hydrants.  The fire burned uncontrollably.”  Former DWP Commissioner Rich Caruso stated the reservoir hadn’t been filled, leading to our second accusation for our game of Clue, which is DWP Commissioner Quinones, being equitable, with the whopping salary, not making sure reservoirs actually contained water.

Next, Governor Gavin Newsom ordered an independent investigation after the hydrants ran dry, stating, “We need answers.”  One of the answers Gavin would hope we would not find is his bragging of his California “largest dam removal [project] in U.S. history” to help tribal fish flows.  He forgot about having enough water to drink and put out fires.  Hydroelectric dams are truly renewable emission-free energy.  Being in place 60+ years, those fish flows have either changed or the fish are dead.  Tribes are no longer nomadic. They live in houses with refrigerators and air-conditioning, requiring power to operate.  Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says Newsom’s “hair gel is interfering with his brain function.”  While Newsom destroyed dams and ordered an investigation to determine why the hydrants went dry, playing typical democrat politics, he deflected any blame pointing his finger at local leaders claiming he couldn’t get straight answers.  Both Newsom and local government officials are being “blasted for alleged mismanagement that may have worsened the devastation.”  Now our third accusation is Governor Gavin Newsom, with potentially flammable, brain muddling hair gel, passing the buck to the “locals.”

Next, we have the $300K-per-year LAFD diversity Deputy Chief Kristine Larson, who defended DEI hiring practices in a video.  Speaking of female firefighters, she stated, when people ask, “‘Is she strong enough to do this?’ or ‘You couldn’t carry my husband out of a fire,’ [to] which my response is, ‘he got himself into a wrong place if I have to carry him out of a fire.’”  This led Gutfeld to say, “If you get trapped in a fire, don’t count on this DEI hire.”   Our next Clue accusation is DEI hire Deputy Chief Kristine Larson, with the big salary, who is not going to help you anyway.

Then there are those like Senator Bernie Sanders, blaming the fire on the Climate Change, a.k.a. Global Warming, which is difficult to speak of since much of the U.S. is under a polar vortexMike Solana, editor-in-chief of Pirate Wires, responded to Sander’s comment stating, “‘Global warming ate my homework’ doesn’t work anymore.”  So, we’ll have no accusation concerning Climate Change, because counter to Democrat Party beliefs, it needs to exist before we can accuse it.

Next we have the L.A. homeless, who were responsible for 13,909 wildfires from 2020 to 2023, which is 50% all fires in the city.  Fires form homeless destroyed part of the I-10 Freeway in 2023, closing a mile-long stretch, with Newsom declaring an L.A. County state of emergency.  With no accountability of the money, voters have been taxed billions to “solve the homeless problem.”  Gavin Newsom doesn’t want audit tracking of the $24 billion spent.  Then of course there is the illegal immigrant with the “flamethrower” starting fires, which locals held for the police.  Next, there’s the arsonists riding around in a “fake firetruck” imitating firefighters but actually setting fires.  One arsonist caught was involved in a 1998 fire the FBI called the “largest eco-related arson in history.”  Our last accusation is, the arsonist, with the match, that democrat leadership will probably pardon.

Opening our Clue envelope to find the answer as to who is at fault, once again, since this involves the Democrat Party, it’s all of them.  The only innocent one is the republican, for there is not one in the bunch.

While the democrat leadership is clueless concerning the California fires, I only hope the voting populace is getting clues as to which party to vote for in the 2026 and 2028 elections.
